Breakfast: RAE & JEA- Instant brown sugar and maple Oatmeal (no coffee) L
Lunch: Left over spaghetti from day-one’s dinner
Dinner: Egg & Cheese Sandwich and left over chili from day-two’s dinner.
My diet has never lacked so much color. It is rather brutal. I do not feel much different, but I am craving certain foods (fresh foods). JEA is just plain bored!!
My roommate is an excellent cook and brought home a bunch of goodies from work. It was disappointing to have to say “no”. There was also a birthday celebration in the office today, no cake for me! Happy Birthday Sydney Bair, our GA!
I was nervous I would not have enough energy to do a run after work, but I bundled up and made it happen. It was not my best run, but I cannot blame that entirely on the challenge.
Dinner is happening a lot earlier these days. I have not concluded that is because I am hungry, or that it gets dark at 5:30. Next week, I‘ll be able to determine the reason!
I have a confession… I bought candy. I love it so much. I went to a corner store in my neighborhood, before I made my purchase, I asked the sales guy if he would accept EBT for my candy. “Yeah, sure” he responded!!! Not trying to beat the system, but JEA and I now have $2.00 left for the rest of the week. I learned a lot from this transaction. There are loopholes in this SNAP/EBT program, and people are resourceful!
I just cannot wait to eat oatmeal and chili again tomorrow!
